The
Philadelphia Remnant
“And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be PREACHED in all the world AS A WITNESS to all the nations, and THEN the end will come” (Matthew 24:14).
 On January 7, 2007, a New Magazine was born and made its debut on the world's stage exactly 73 years from January 7, 1936, when the Work God had given Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong, his apostle, and the Elijah to come, made its debut on the world’s stage for the endtime!
The Elijah to come was to be used by Christ in restoring His holy and righteous laws, to preach the gospel and sound the Ezekiel warning (Malachi 3:1; Matthew 24:14; Ezekiel 33). His mission would be like that of John the Baptist -- preparing the way before the coming of Jesus Christ (Malachi 3:1).
The effort was also to be made by the Elijah to begin bringing a sufficient number of families back together in unity and harmony lest Christ should come and strike the earth with utter destruction (Malachi 4:5-6).
His mission first began on that date and year and continued for over 50 years unabated until his death occurred on January 16, 1986.
January 16, 2007
This is being written on January 16, 2007, 21 years from the date of the death of Mr. Armstrong. Perhaps it is significant the Atomic Scientists has informed the world what time it is with its symbolic Doomsday Clock -- that has now been reset from 7 to 5 minutes to Midnight--which symbolizes nuclear war with the possibility of the extinction of all life on earth.
“The major new step reflects growing concerns about a “second Nuclear Age” marked by grave threats, including: nuclear ambitions in Iran and North Korea, unsecured nuclear materials in Russia, and elsewhere, the continuing ‘launch-ready’ status of 2,000 of the 25,000 nuclear weapons held by the U. S. and Russia, escalating terrorism, and new pressure for expanded civilian nuclear power that could increase proliferation risks,” the news release said.
 The resetting of the DOOMS DAY CLOCK occurred one day after Mr. Herbert W Armstrong's 21st Memorial, at which time they opened a new website and moved the minute hand of the clock closer to Midnight.
Brethren, we are critically close to the end and the beginning of the Famine of the Word; a time when God’s true teachings can no longer be heard (Amos 8:11-12). This will be a time of trying to obtain oil for their empty lamps and not able to find any (Matthew 25:10).
The Door was Closed
It was at the time of Mr. Armstrong’s death that Jesus Christ began CLOSING THE DOOR to the Work He had given him to do at the endtime for a space of time (Revelation 3:7).
This interim of time would make possible the fulfilling of prophecies, such as the falling away of the tares (over 50,000 of them, Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43; II Thessalonians 2:1-3, 10-12), and also the scattering of the true members of the Church of God (Daniel 12:7; Ezekiel 34; Jeremiah 23).
Those prophecies would NOT have been fulfilled had he lived! He had to be taken out of the way by his death to make the fulfillment of them possible (II Thessalonians 2:7).
The Door Opened Once Again
Since these prophecies have for the most part been fulfilled, Jesus Christ has begun REACTIVATING those same Works -- the very Works of the Endtime Elijah just shortly before the beginning of the famine and disease epidemics begin having a vice-like deadly grip on the lives of the people of the House of Joseph! The DOOMDAYS CLOCK IS TICKING!
 The Red and Pale Horses of Revelation 6 will lead into the Great Tribulation and the demise of Israel as nations and then be followed by slavery and martyrdom (Revelation 6:9-11).
No Other Elijah to Come
In view of the Scriptures, it only makes sense that Christ would use the same man’s recorded works to finish the Work He had raised him up to do in human life (Revelation 10:11; Zechariah 4:9, in type).
Though the Two Witnesses will be in type of both the original Elijah and Moses, neither one is to be the Elijah of the endtime. The Elijah’s mission will have been completed before their witness begins to the Gentile nations! And their mission of three and one-half years will NOT begin until after Israel has been defeated and gone into captivity (Revelation 11:3-12).
Contrary to what many leaders and members want to believe there is no Scripture anywhere to indicate anyone else would come before or after the Elijah of our time.
There is NO ONE ELSE who has been used by Christ to do what He used Mr. Armstrong to do in restoring His laws and doctrinal teachings within His Church while preaching and warning the House of Israel and nations of this earth for over 50 years
Mr. Armstrong was indeed the special man Christ was to send to mankind at the end-time (Malachi 4:5; Matthew 17:10-11; Mark 9:11-12). He is the one who was also used to teach all of us who were and are in the Church of God.
The Elijah Lives Through His Works
Though Mr. Armstrong is dead, all of his recorded works live on and are now available and accessible for any and all to view and hear.
Though there are others who believe they are doing the work but not one of them can replace the Elijah and what Christ used him to do during his lifetime.
It speaks volumes to realize that not any of the larger corporate Churches have the Elijah’s works on their websites with the exception of one; but he has made edits and also glorifies himself with names that only belong to Christ.
This is why Christ has REOPENED THE DOOR once again to send forth with what may very well be A LAST DITCH AND FINAL WARNING through his reactivated recorded works in this tiny little Church!
Though Mr. Armstrong is dead, he lives once again through his recorded works. And they can be found on our websites.
This is the Doing of Jesus Christ
What Jesus Christ is now doing by using this tiny handful of Gideon's army, so-to-speak, is as a CONDUIT for those RESTORED AND REACTIVATED WORKS to be made available and accessible for any and all anywhere on earth who desire to learn the truth and begin changing their lives.
One should know there is NO LONGER a need for millions of members to make possible a Work to be done. Computers with websites and a published magazine can now do this with only a very few people (Mark 13:10, KJV). Modern technology has advanced that much since 1986.
Who Are We?
 Please know this little flock is insignificant! We are well aware of who we are and realize we fit the description that was given by the apostle Paul; the bottom of the barrel (I Corinthians 1:27-29).
We should remember at the same time Christ said He could raise up rocks if need be to fulfill His will (Luke 19:40). And this is the way we look at ourselves.
Perhaps what Christ is doing through us could fit well with what the prophet Habakkuk wrote about, in principle, such a Work now being done through us, as being unbelievable (Habakkuk 1:5).
The Beginning
Beginning this past Passover season through a series of miracles, Jesus Christ paved the way for all of the recorded works of Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong to be RESTORED to our mother website www.cog-ff.com. A very short time later other websites were given to us and are now linked to our mother website.
These added websites were freely offered without having to ask for any of them. As far as I know these are the only websites to my knowledge that has all of his recorded works on them with a true ordained pastor responsible for them who are holding fast to all of those doctrinal teachings, including the ruling on makeup, without being in rebellion against God’s Government, and not glorifying self.
